Billy O’Bryan

Billy O’Bryan is a passionate recovery advocate and the Kentucky Program Director for Young People In Recovery (YPR), where he leads 15 chapters across the state in empowering youth to thrive in long-term recovery. With lived experience and a deep commitment to community, Billy brings both authenticity and leadership to the forefront of Kentucky’s recovery movement. He serves as President of the Board of Directors for Louisville Recovery Community Connection, helping shape the future of peer-led recovery services. Billy has also served as the Data Recorder for the Louisville Situation Table, and is a proud CIC member of UNSHAME KY, working to dismantle stigma and elevate recovery voices. Whether he's building programs, mentoring emerging leaders, or speaking on stages like this one, Billy is driven by one mission: to create stronger, more inclusive recovery communities where everyone has the chance to heal and thrive.

Mitchell Koontz

Mitchell Koontz is a Commercial Lender at Park National Bank with a banking career spanning back to 2004. Since 2010, he has specialized in business banking and commercial lending. He is passionate about recovery and supporting people on their journey.

Merideth Booth

Merideth Booth is the DOC Program Coordinator at Voices of Hope and a person in long-term recovery. She is passionate about advocating for justice reform and protecting civil liberties, using her experience and voice to support meaningful change in her community.

Jenni Kelly

Jenni is a person in long term recovery for almost 18 years. She has been an integral part of YPR Louisville for nearly 12 years and has been involved with the Louisville Recovery Community Connection since the beginning.

Emily Huffman

Emily Huffman is the Vice President of the Board and a person in long-term recovery. She is the cofounder of HER and an active advocate for community empowerment and support. Emily is dedicated to creating pathways to recovery, elevating women’s voices, and strengthening the communities she serves.
